Busō renkin (武装錬金) is a Manga of Nobuhiro Watsuki. Published initially in Weekly Shōnen Jump, of number 30 of 2003 to number 21,22 of 2005, it is published in ten volumes connected.

Today, the series stopped with the Japan, with volume 10.

The first volume left in March 2006 in France according to planning the exits of Glénat.

Short summary of the history

Kazuki Mutō (), second year of college, sees while returning one evening an young girl threatened by a tentacular monster. Interposing, it receives a tentacle in full heart… and awakes in start the morning. He concludes from it with the nightmare.

The evening even, it is made attack by one of its professors, who transforms themselves under his eyes into monster. Fleeing, he intends his Cellphone to sound, and a feminine voice saying to him that he to the permission to use his force to fight. Not including/understanding what it turns over, Kazuki continuous to flee… but his/her sister Mahiro (まひろ) crosses, who is made swallow by the monster.

Furious, it tries to fight, but is made sweep in one moment. Feeling a pain on the level of its heart, he remembers then what occurred the day before. Killed by the creature, the young girl whom it saved offered a heart artifiel, produced to him Alchimie. That confers to him moreover one special force of combat.

Using, Kazuki manages to save his/her sister, and the young girl intervenes to complete the monster.

This one is called Tokiko Tsumura (), and explains to him that it fights homonclus against, creatures nourishing the human ones.

In spite of its warnings, Kazuki decides to help Tokiko to fight them, in order to protect his/her sister and her friends.
