Burquini
The burquini , compromised between the Burqa and the bikini, is a Vêtement of bath intended for the Moslem women who want to benefit from the pleasures of the Plage while respecting the precepts of their religion. It is about an “integral” shirt, in two parts, covering all the body of the head to the ankles. Only the feet, the hands and the face remain visible.
The burquini was conceived in Australia by Aheda Zanetti, young designer of Lebanese origin. This “shirt” was approved by large the Mufti of Australia, the Sheik Taj Aldin Al-Hilali, but for certain Moslems, this clothing, too close to the body, is “Honte ux”.
