Burnie

Burnie (: 19217 inhabitants) is a city (" city") harbor on the northern coast of the Tasmanie in Australia with 47 kilometers of Devonport and to 296 of Hobart.

Created in 1827 under the name of Moved Bay, the city took the name of Burnie to the beginning of the year 1840 in the honor of William Burnie - a director of the " Van Diemen' S Company" Land; company in charge to emphasize the island.

Burnie shelters the " Cradle Coast Campus" university of Tasmanie and the " Hellyer College".
