Burlington is a Ville of North Carolina to the the United States located in the Comté of Alamance.

One estimated his population at 44.917 inhabitants in 2000. With the last census of 2005, it counted 47.295 of them.

The town of Burlington accommodates the club of baseball of the " Royals de Burlington" , evolving/moving within the Appalachian league. This team involves itself in Burlingthon athletic Stadium, now returned celebrates amongst other things by the turning of part of a film in her place: Bull Durham.

This city is also known to shelter the head office of Biscuitville, a regional chain of fastfood.

Although the major part of the city is located in the county of Alamance, Burlington remains with horse on the county close to Guilford.
