Burhou
Burhou is small a Channel Island, with less than 2 km in the North-West of Aurigny. The channel separating the two islands is dangerous, amplifying the effects of Marée.
Burhou is a Natural reserve dedicated to the puffin monks and it is interdict to accost there between the March 15th and the July 27th of each year. The colony of puffin is declining, while a vast number of rabbits proliferate on the island.
The island is uninhabited, with share a small hut rented with possible visitors and who was built in 1953 to replace a hut of fishermen going back to 1820, destroyed at the time of the German occupation of the islands during the Second world war.
