Burande

The Burande) (also called the Jarrige  ) is a French river of the Puy-de-Dôme, affluent of the the Dordogne.

Geography

It takes its source with more than 1.700 m of altitude on the western side of the Puy de Sancy on the commune of Chastreix.

It sprinkles Turn-in Auvergne and joined the Dordogne out of left bank, at the northern end of the lake of reserve of the Barrage of Bort-the-Organ, two kilometers in the south-west of Singles.

Hydrology

January 6th, 1982, the hydrological station the Individual ones recorded a daily maximum flow of 54,3 m/s.
