Bunun

The Bunun (Chinese: 布農) is indigenous native of Taiwan. They belong to the family of the Austronésiens. This group speaks the language bunun.

They make party of the one of the 13 indigenous groups officially recognized by the République of China (Taiwan). They are nearly 45.000 on a little more than 460.000.

The teize groups are: the Friendly , the Atayal , the Bunun , the Kavalan , the Paiwan , the Puyuma , the Rukai , the Saisiat , the Sakizaya , the Da' O (Yami), the Thao , the Truku and the Tsou .
