Bungie Studios
Bungie Studios is a company of development and edition of Video game, founded in 1991 under the name Bungie Software Products Corporation by two students at the University of Chicago, Alex Seropian and Jason Jones. Bungie is famous to have developed FPS for Macintosh in the Années 1990, of which the series of the Marathon. Later, the series of the Myth for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh also saw an important success. The Bungie plays are particularly appreciated by the players for their major and complex scenarios. In June 2000, Microsoft repurchases Bungie, which becomes a subsidiary company of Microsoft Game Studios before, a few days after the exit of Halation 3, Bungie finds its freedom on October 1st 2007.
In 1999, Bungie announces that its next play will be a return to kind FPS: Halation. The first demonstration of Halo was made at the time of the keynote of the Macworld Expo 2000. The play was to leave at the same time on Mac and Windows. The June 19th 2000, Microsoft announces the repurchase of Bungie Software , which becomes Bungie Studios , a subsidiary company of the Microsoft Game Division (which is on the occasion famous in Microsoft Game Studios ). The development for Mac and Windows was stopped, and the play was completely redéveloppé for Xbox. When Halo left on PC and Mac, two years after the Xbox version, it was more the innovative play only it would have being in 2000.
