Bumblebee

Original series

The original series presents Bumblebee like the equivalent of the " small frère" other Autobots: of small size, it is younger than the others, makes a point of showing them its respect and its admiration (particularly Optimus precedes) and behaves like a teenager. It has tendence to take disproportionate risks, which complicates sometimes the things, but remains effective. He plays a crucial role in the series, because he is the character to which the children can be most easily identified, and for this reason he gets along well with young person wire of the Famille Witwicky (this fact is preserved, and even amplified in film). This problem is repaired at the end of film.

Always in film, Bumblebee is first Autobot arrived on Earth, being that charged to defend human Sam Witwicky.
