Bullhead City

Bullhead City is a city located at the accesses of the river Colorado in the Comté of Mohave in Arizona in the South-west of the the United States. To approximately 160 km of Las Vegas to the Nevada, the city shelters several casinos along the Colorado river. In 2005, the population was estimated at 39.101 inhabitants.

Bullhead City is a town of 119 km ² located at 35°6 ′ 56 ″ NR, 114°35 ′ 19 ″ W. It is placed at the border of the Arizona and the Nevada on the Colorado river. International Laughlin/Bullhead Airport, located at the north of the city, is very close to the Route 95 which crosses the Municipalité.

Origin of the name

At the beginning, the city had like name Hardyville in the honor of William Harrison Hardy. Thereafter, the name changed for Bullhead City, took Bull' S Head Rock the name of a formation of rocks close to the Colorado river.
