Bullfrog Productions
Bullfrog Productions (generally shortened in Bullfrog ) was a studio of development of video games British, founded in 1987 by Peter Molyneux and Edgar. The company is probably known mainly for its second production, Populous , published in 1989.
Electronic Arts, which published the plays Bullfrog , acquired the studio in January 1995. Peter Molyneux became a vice-president and a consultant of Electronic Arts as of 1994, after EA bought an important participation of the capital of Bullfrog , and finally left the company which it had founded in August 1997 to create Lionhead Studios .
The last plays carrying the logo Bullfrog were published in 2001. The company disappeared in 2004, when Electronic Arts undertook to include the studios of development in its division EA the U.K.
