History

The team of the bulldogs of Hamilton was created in 1996, it is resulting from the removal of the Oilers of Cape-Breton the. Affiliated with the Oilers d' Edmonton, the frankness is sold in 2002 with a local group of business men and becomes the affiliated club of the Canadians of Montreal, which was before the Citadelles of Quebec. For the season 2002-03, the club was affiliated with the Canadians of Montreal and Oilers d' Edmonton. The affiliated club of Oilers is moved in Toronto where it becomes the Roadrunners of Toronto for the season 2003-04.

In 2007, after having finished 3rd of their division, they beat successively all their adversaries in eliminatory series to allocate the first Coupe Calder of their history while having the champions in title, the Bears de Hershey, on the score of four victories to one.
