Bull Burrow
The Bull Terrier is a dog of English origin, pertaining to the 3rd group of the races of dog of F.C.I. Bull Terrier is divided into two families: Bull Standard Burrow (or English Bull Burrow) and miniature Bull Burrow, this last not having to exceed 35,5 cm with the garrot.
Certain people see in the Bull-terrier, a certain ugliness, while for others, this dog will be admired and even described such the “gladiator of the canine race”. Bull Terrier is a dog resulting from a crossing which has occurred between English Bulldog and a Burrow, and for this poor dog will begin a more or less sinister career, since for him it will be used only as dog of combat. The first dogs Bull Terrier were very identical to the Bull-terrier of Staffordshire, but thereafter, a little blood of Dalmatien slipped into these veins, (and can be also blood of several other races) was introduced. This said, if you are an enthusiastic admiror of the races of bulldozer, you will adore the Bull-terrier dog, because this animal, if it is well drawn up, can be a dog of very faithful but especially devoted company, the female more particularly will show a highly reliable behavior, and more still with the children. But it should be thought, that remains despite everything a very powerful dog which will have to completely find a Master with the measurement of his very great force. It will thus be necessary well to reflect before you engage to have on your premise this Bull-Terrier dog. For the characteristic, one can say that it is a dog having a long head and “ovoid” (or in the egg shape) front view and the stop is non-existent, that Ci is very thick until the end of his muzzle. The Bull-Terrier dog has the eyes appearing rather small, and of color dark. The ears small and fine but are brought closer enough. Bull Terrier has a short tail, established low and carried to the horizontal one. In the Bull-Terrier dog the trunk will show a broad and strong back, thus q' a deep breast piece with a rib cage suspended very well. The Bull-terrier is a dog of group 3 and section 3, i.e. dogs burrow of the type bulldozer. For the size there is no limit determined as well for the males as for the females, it is the same for the weight. The Bull-Terrier dog has the short and plated hair. The Bull-terrier white must imperatively be of a pure white, without spot and for the coloured subjects there exist bringées dresses (those Ci are appreciated), black, red, fawn-coloured and the tricolor ones are allowed at the time of contest. But know that there exists a miniature Bull-terrier dog? It is the certified copy of the Bull-terrier with the same standard except for its size of course. At the beginning, in the history of the race, the subjects appeared with a weight which did not exceed 4,5kg and it has was necessary that this “dwarf” Bull-terrier waits years 39/40 so that it is recognized by British Kennel Club. But the miniature Bull-Terrier dog very popular and it is not observed little at the time of canine contests. It is a particularly adorable dog and of very good company, it has practically the same characteristics as his Bull-Terrier cousin if it is only its size which differs. This miniature dog shows itself very nice with the children. But the Bull-terrier are not recommended in apartments, a garden is preferable for him because it should keep its power and its musculature, it needs frequent exercises. As regards its maintenance, the Bull-Terrier dog is in the category of “few talks! ” a daily brushing is enough. Thus if the desire a Bull-terrier, you take to you to have need a firm raising, but especially without brutalities because it remembers it and could be aggressive towards you as well as the other people. A muzzle is advised if you release your dog, the law obliges it alas!
