The bull is a domestic Mammifère Ruminant, generally carrying horns on the face, pertaining to the species Bos taurus of the family of the Bovidé S. It is the male of the Vache.
The bull is the male of the species, it is used mainly for the reproduction, more and more by Artificial insemination in the dairy breeding, for the production of meat (breeding of bull calves) and for the bullfights. The male castrated is the Bœuf, the female, the Vache or the heifer (young cow) and the small one, the Veau.
Origin of the word
The term “bull” comes from the Latin taurus , even borrowed to him from the Greek tauros .
