Buire is a commune of the canton of Hirson, in the Aisne.

The Florentine Tower: It is about the tower of the signal box of the station of Buire, built in 1920 -21, a height of about fifty meters. The importance of the monument is due to the geographical position of the station which was with the junction of the rail networks of North and the East. It was, then, the second signal box of France after Paris. The architect is Gustave UMBDENSTOCK. The tower unused since the bombardments of 1944 and is classified with the historic buildings since 1995.
