Bugge Wesseltoft
Jens Christian Bugge Wesseltoft (born the February 11th 1964) is a musician of Norwegian Jazz , Pianiste, Compositeur and producer. He created his own label named Jazzland Records.
In the Years 1990, Bugge is one of the main actors of the transition from the traditional Scandinavian jazz towards a style called future jazz or Nu jazz. He played in particular with Jan Garbarek.
He received in 1996 the Spellemannprisen for his album New Conception off Jazz , like in 1998 and 2002 for his albums with Sidsel Endresen, Duplex Wrinkle and Out Here, In There .
