Buffy against the vampires, Season eight , is a series of comics books published by Dark Horse Comics. Comic is used as canonical continuation with the final of the series Buffy against the Vampires . It is produced by Joss Whedon which wrote the first arc, “The Long Way Home”. The first number left the March 14th 2007 to the the United States. The director of Dark Horse also confirmed his French exit, but no official date is known. In the beginning, the series was supposed to be composed of approximately 25 numbers, but the writer of the series Scott Allie confirmed “that they are to approximately 50, and that could gone a little further”. Scott Allie indicated that the comic book was called at the base “Season eight”, but there is a subtitle which will be added after the sixth number.
Detail of the intrigue
The history begins (at least a year and half) after the events from the End of time, placing the history a little close at the last six-month period 2004 and after the events of the Ultimate Combat.
Alex and Buffy order now a power station located in a citadel in Scotland. At their disposal, an large army of indicators, witches and of tueuses, with a vast quantity of technological weapons. There are 1800 tueuses in the world according to Buffy, approximately 500 which works with her, separate in ten teams, Andrew responsible for several in southernmost Italy, and Gilles responsible him also for an large army of tueuse in England.
Following the destruction of Sunnydale, the governmental army of the United States see Tueuses as armed operating with fine terrorists and characterizes Buffy as Charismatic, pitiless chief “and completely devastator”. The General Flight, a member of a government project of the same kind as the initiative, described its fear of their resources and their powers. The government was combined with the surviving one of Sunnydale, Amy Madison and Warren Mears. Both seek revenge in the role on malicious, a new role for Amy.
One sees as the repercussions as Dawn undergone while having attended a boy called Kenny (a thricewise) which made it giant, Buffy, Gilles, Leah, and Willow think separately that is while sleeping with him that it became giant.

- Dark Horse Comics held a contest so that a reader appears in Comic. Gaining was Robin Balzer, a handicapped woman who found consolation in Buffy .
