Lieutenant Robert de Lessan, died for France on June 17th, 1940 during an air mission for which it had gone voluntary, chevalier of the Legion of Honor, Military Cross 1939-1945.
German abbot Couterret, priest of the parish, deceased on May 3rd, 1945 with the concentration camp of Ludwigslust (Germany). It had been made prisoner by the Germans, on denunciation, to have given one of its cassocks to a allied aviator who tried to join Switzerland.
