Buddlejaceae

The family of the Buddlejaceae is a family of plants Dicotylédone S. According to Watson & Dallwitz it includes/understands 150 Espèce S divided into 9 kind S:

  • Androya, Buddleja, Emorya, Gomphostigma, Nicodemia, Nuxia, Peltanthera .

They are trees, shrubs, lianas of the areas moderated with tropical.

  • the kind Buddleja gives a shrub to the large ear inflorescences: the tree with the butterflies ( Buddleja davidii ) originating in China and which is practically naturalized in the south of the France.

The family was accepted by the Classification APG (1998) but does not exist any more in Classification APG II of 2003. The kind Buddleja is then located in the Scrophulariaceae .
