Buddhist International institute

The Buddhist International institute was founded in 1968, by Jean Sainteny (French politician, 1907 - 1978) which gave place to the creation of the pagoda to the wood of Vincennes. The statues " Unsui Gunzo " were given officially to the Ville of Paris, offered by the Japanese committee of support for the Buddhist International institute.

In 1980, Kalou Rinpoché, which had just given a teaching to the Pagode of the wood of Vincennes, met Jean Ober, general secretary of the Buddhist International institute with which it discussed the construction project of the Temple Tibetan of Kagyu-Dzong.
