Buddhaghosa is a Master scholar of the Bouddhisme Theravada.

In 420 after J. - C, it went to the Sri Lanka and was accepted with the Mahavihara. It there consulted the Tipitaka like its comments and wrote the Visuddhimagga, the comment more recognized by the Theravada.
