Buckingham (Quebec)

Buckingham is an old city of the Quebec (Canada), in the area of the Outaouais. Since January 1st, 2002, at the time of the Québécois municipal reorganization, it was amalgamated at the town of Gatineau. Buckingham is now one of the five sectors of Gatineau. This small agglomeration counts approximately 10.000 inhabitants and is divided by Hare, a river on which a stopping sets up. It counts on a side the majority of the services of the city (hospital, several elementary schools, the general-purpose one, the CLSC, the main street, etc) and on other bank one finds primarily residential districts.
