Buchner funnel

The Buchner funnel is equipment of Laboratoire used for the Vacuum filtration. It is traditionally made in Porcelaine or Verre sintered, but nowadays the plastic funnels are also available. On the high part of the funnel there is a Cylindre with perforated a punt part. The material of filtration, often of paper filter, is placed on this punt part. The liquid to be filtered is versed in the cylinder and aspired by a partial Vide created in the Filter-flask. It is often believed that it bears the name of the Nobel Prize of Chemistry Eduard Buchner but it is actually of the industrial chemist Ernst Büchner in question.
