The Buccinum undatum is a mollusc Gastéropode very appreciated marine Prosobranche.

Distribution

Description

The foot of the gastropod is very developed and constitutes the edible part of the animal. It becomes adult at 4 years and can live more than 10 years; its size at 4 years is of 5,5 cm, it can exceed 10 cm for the oldest subjects. An adult animal weighs approximately 20 grams.
