Buada lagoon
The lagoon Buada , in English Buada Lagoon , is largest and only true the Lac of the island of Nauru, small a République independent of Oceania consisted of an island very punt of 21.3 km2. The lake is located in the district of Buada from where it draws its name. It is not a Lagune strictly speaking in the direction where the lake is not in communication with the sea but where its water is slightly Saumâtre S.

Unfortunately, the tilapias multiplied at the point to compete with the fish-milk which were raised there, involving the presence of Escherichia coli in the lake.
In spite of these threats of degradation of the medium, no protection measure is undertaken although the Buada lagoon seems to answer the criteria of the Convention of Ramsar on the wetlands
