Bryophyllum

Bryophyllum is a kind of plants made up of a score of species originating in Madagascar.

After being included in the kind Kalanchoe during many years, one considers from now on that it is about a kind with share. The principal differences are Fleur S hanging and the production of Bulbille S.

The edges of the sheets of this kind produce great quantities of small plants which, while falling, give birth to from new plants.

These species are often regarded as Mauvaises grass. Certains Bryophyllums is cultivated for their foliage and their flowering but one must take care not to let the plant be propagated in an uncontrolled way.
