The Bryant-Denny Stadium is a stage of American football located at Tuscaloosa in the Alabama. It is the enclosure used by the Alabama Crimson Tide . This stage which offers a capacity of 92.138 places is the property of the University off Alabama.
History
The stage was inaugurated in 1929 under the name of “George Hutchenson Denny Stadium” and was rebatisé “Bryant-Denny Stadium” in 1975. With its beginnings, the enclosure includes/understands only 12.000 places. This capacity passes to 18.000 in 1937, 25.000 in 1950, 43.000 in 1961, 60.000 in 1966, 70.123 in 1988 and 83.818 in 1998. To the autumn 2006, the capacity is changed to 92.138 following a new phase of enlarging. Before this ultimate modification, the record of multitude was of 92.138 recorded spectators the September 2nd 2006 vis-a-vis the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors .
