Bryan McCabe

Bryan McCabe (born the June 8th 1975 with Holy Catharines in the province of the Ontario in Canada) is a professional player of Hockey in North America. McCabe is married in Roberta and have a named girl Stevie.

Career in club

McCabe begins its career junior in 1991 - 92 in the Western Hockey League while playing for the team of the Tigers de Medicine Hat. He plays two seasons with the team before changing team. He joined the Chiefs de Spokane then takes part in the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey in 1993 and he is chosen by the Islanders of New York in second round and 40e choice on the whole. He does not make therefore his beginnings in the LNH and continuous in the WHL. In 1994-95, whereas it evolves/moves with the Wheat Kings de Brandon it selected in the standard team of the season and is joined the Islanders of New York for the following season.

He plays two whole seasons with Islanders before joining in the middle of the season 1997-98 the Canucks of Vancouver then two years later the Blackhawks of Chicago.

He makes only one season in the frankness from Chicago before signing with the Maple Leafs of Toronto, his current team. In 2004, it finishes 4th with the vote for the Trophée Norris and decides to join the Europe at the time of the '' lockout '' 2004-05 of the LNH and joined the rows of HV 71 of the championship Swedish elite (Elitserien). He will play only ten matches before being made renoyer by the direction of the team.

The June 28th 2006, McCabe signs a five year old contract for a total of 28,75 million Dollars with Maple Leafs.

2006 with Turin in Italy. At the base, it is not selected but not only put on the list of substitutes in the event of wound. The February 2nd 2006, following the wound of Todd Bertuzzi, it joined the formation and takes part in the Olympic Games.
