Brutus de Marco Junius

The kind Epipactis is a kind of Orchidaceae terrestrial primarily eurasiatic. They are plants with rhizome, very pledged with the forests of deciduous trees. Plants of shade, they flower under wood in June - July.

Principal characters

  • the sheets have marked veins, they embracing at the base and are distributed along the stem.
  • the flowers in rather loose bunches are reddish or greenish.
  • the labelle is divided into two parts, at the base, it contains nectar.
