Brush with watercolour
The brush with watercolour is a Pinceau used in the technique of the Aquarelle, generally made up of hairs of small-gray (a squirrel) or of Poney.
The most required brushes, but also most expensive are in hairs of marten.
It is very close to the Pinceau to washing, brush used in the Far East, but the hairs do not come from the same animals, and the properties are slightly different.
The hairs of small-gray retain water best that the hairs of pony.
The handle is generally of wood, and the hairs are attached to the brush using small plates of Bois tightened by Fil of iron tied by torsion. It is frequent to find the wood plates replaced by transparent plastic in the brushes of study.
