Bruno Jean Marie Racine is a senior official and writer French born with Paris the December 17th 1951.

Biography

Wire of Pierre Root, To advise State, and of Edwina Morgulis, Bruno Racine makes his studies at the School Rochefoucauld then with the Louis-the-Large Lycée before entering to the National university and obtaining the aggregation of traditional letters. It also follows the courses of the Institut of political studies of Paris and between to the National school of administration in 1977.

It leaves the ENA to the Court of Auditors where it is named listener in 1979 then public auditor in 1983. The September 5th 1981, it marries Béatrice de Bégon de Larouzière-Montlosier, of which it has four children (Louis, Pauline, Sabine, Pierre).

It joined the service of the strategic businesses and the disarmament of the ministry for the Foreign relations (1983 - 1986) before joining the cabinet of Jacques Chirac, Prime Minister, in the capacity as operations manager (1986 - 1988).

In 1988, it is named director of the cultural affairs of the Town of Paris, function which it occupies until in 1993. It joined then the cabinet of Alain Juppe, Foreign Minister, in the capacity as operations manager near the Minister and in parallel director of the Center of analysis and forecast (1993 - 1995), then follows it to Matignon like operations manager near the Prime Minister, more particularly charged with the strategic and cultural files (1995 - 1997).

Promoted to advise main at the Court of Auditors (1996), he becomes director of the Académie from France to Rome (1997 - 2002) before being appointed president of the Center Georges-Pompidou (2002).

The March 28th 2007, it is named in the Council of Ministers chair National library of France as from the April 2nd 2007, succeeding Jean-Christmas Jeanneney which had reached the age limit for this function.

It in addition chairs the board of directors of the Fondation for strategic research (since 2001) and the High council of education (since 2005).
