Bruno Julliard
Bruno Julliard , of his complete name Bruno Julliard-Pram , is a trade unionist student French, born the February 9th 1981 with the Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire), president of the National union of the students of France of July 2005 to the December 8th 2007.
Biography
It is resulting from a politically engaged family. His/her mother, Arlette Arnaud-Pram, is socialist mayor Puy-en-Velay since 2001. His/her father-in-law is militant communist.After its baccalaureat obtained in 1999, it starts a course in right and was at the time of the school year 2006-2007 student in second year of master search for public Droit.
Trade-union engagements
Studying in Public law to the University Light - Lyon II, it adhered to UNEF-ID in 1999, that is to say before the reunification of 2001 between the UNEF-ID and UNEF-SE.It was responsible for the Comité for union action of Lyon II and Vice-président studied University before becoming president of OLD of Lyon in 2001 then to enter to the National office of UNEF in 2003. He is the second president of the OLD reunified after Isabelle Dumestre, who was president during two weeks before entering to the National office.
During his mandate of president of OLD of Lyon, Bruno Julliard was condemned for slandering against the historian Africanist Bernard Lugan whom he showed of “Négationnisme” to pay the sum of 4.200 euros fine, by a stop of the Court of Appeal of Lyon of the June 30th 2004.
Bruno Julliard was also elected with CNESER of June 2004 to July 2006, where it particularly followed the files concerning research.
Since July 2005, he is the spokesperson of the tendency national Majorité and chair UNEF. He took part in fact in the mobilization coed and high-school girl having led to the withdrawal, the April 10th 2006, of article 8 of the Loi for the equal opportunity founding the Contrat first engages (CPE).
The November 30th 2007, it announces that it “will leave for personal reasons” the presidency of Unef during the meeting of the national collective which will take place saturdays December 8th. The vice-president, Jean-Baptiste Prévost, only candidate with the presidency, will replace it then.
Political commitments
He was stimulating federal Mouvement of the young Socialists in Haute-Loire in 2001. He was then member of the Gauche Socialist of which he signed motion for the congress of Grenoble of November 2000 before joining Nouveau World then Socialist alternative, the current of Henri Emmanuelli.Following its election like chair UNEF, it affirms, in July 2005, to have returned its chart of the Socialist party.
In the Barber of the March 7th 2006, Bruno Julliard affirms that it sometimes happened to him to meet the First secretary of the Socialist party, François Holland, and the Député of the Landes Henri Emmanuelli. However he prevents that the decisions of the UNEF are made “by it only” and declares that “the relationship between the UNEF and the PS is the same ones as with the whole of the left parties”.
According to the Sunday newspaper , it should be reproduced on the lists PS in Paris for the local elections of 2008.
