Bruno Bouckaert

Bruno Bouckaert (born in 1969), Belgian musicologist, eminent doctor and specialist in classical music in the the Middle Ages and the polyphonic music in the Flemish Rebirth. Its research related to the sacred music of the north of the France.

Biography

He studies musicology with KUL between 1986 and 1990 and works since 1993 like coordinator of project within the section musicology of Alamire foundation, a musical center of international reputation. Currently Directing of this fondaton, It is one of the specialist in polyphony in the institutions and ensures the recognition of the medieval musical inheritance of the North of France (septentrional France). It is active within the network of Médiévistes Belgian of Language françaiseIl animates and takes part in many conferences and symposium in the international level.
