Bruno Baeriswyl
Bruno Baeriswyl is a painter born with Freiburg in Suisse the August 11th 1941 and deceased in this same city the October 23rd 1996.
Biography
Eleventh from a family of twelve children, it passed his childhood and its youth in the old part of the city. After the Elementary school, it made a training in a factory of boarding and collaborated of 1960 to 1970 as marquettist independent with offices of Freibourgese architects.In parallel, this autodidact devoted himself to the artistic créaction and moreover more particularly to painting. Child already, it was fascinated by the work of the self-educated painter Ernest Riesemey, the slag of the district. Consequently it was devoted definitively to Article.
From 1974 to 1981, it directed with Michel Ritter the Gallery RB to Freiburg, which became a window of the contemporary créaction. It obtained three federal purses of the fine arts (1962, 1963,1969), the price of the foundation Lélo Fiaux (1968) and a purse of the Canadian Government (1971) allowing him a stay prolonged in this country. In 1979, the " Deuschfreigurische Arbeitsgemainschaft" he given the price of the fine arts.
