Bruising

Bruising is a common French, located in the department of the Coast-with Or and the area Burgundy. It is a city of the Dijonese agglomeration located at the North-West of Dijon. Its inhabitants is called the Talantais . Because of its proximity with Dijon, the city is presented in the form of a primarily residential city.

  • the Notre-Dame church of Bruising , the 13th century. This medieval church was one of the very first Gothic churches of the Duché of Burgundy and was classified historic building in 1908. It is located on the culminating point of the city. Besides this culminating point offers an integral sight of Dijon and on the lake Kir. Within this church are since 1996 46 bays of splendid contemporary stained glasses of Gerard Garouste and the glassmaker Pierre-Alain Parot.
  • the tower of Confrairie , only vestige of the 33 turns of the enclosure of Bruising.
