Brown Cape

The Cape Brun is one of the districts of Toulon East, located beside the district Mourillon

History

On its return of Indo-China, in 1930, Henri Bogaert throws his reserved on Toulon, where it buys with his wife and her daughter the small field of the Cape Brun. Monges exploit the last vineyards of the course Brun, whose wine was with the honor on the table of Louis XIV. Today the field of the Cape Brun remains, with that of Montmartre, one of the last French town vineyards. More than 10.000 estampillées bottles Clos Lamalgue are sold to the restorers of the vintage and to some tourists attracted by this special nectar. The district of Cape-Brown at the head remains Toulon-native prize list of the districts with dimensions and most expensive. Indeed, the residential zones in the east of the downtown area offer to their inhabitants all the conveniences of transport, of trade as well as a sublime sight on the Mediterranean. September 17th, 2007 is inaugurated the Notre-Dame of the Cape Falcon and its memorial of the cemeteries Morocco-Tunisia-Algeria or its gathered 45 ballot boxes containing each one a handle of ground of a cemetery of North Africa or rest Pieds-noirs.
