Brooks Orpik

Brooks Orpik (born the September 26th 1980 with San Francisco in California) is an American player professional of Hockey.

Career in club

Orpik was chosen by the Penguins de Pittsburgh with the first turn of the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 2000 (18th choice on the whole). To date, he only played in the LNH for Penguins.

That known as it began hockey within the National Collegiate Athletic Association for the the university of Boston then after being taken by Penguins, it went to make its weapons in the team holds of Penguins: Penguins de Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American League of hockey.

It makes its beginnings in the LNH during the Saison LNH 2002-03.

The March 4th 2006 during a meeting between Penguins and the Hurricanes of the Caroline it makes a setting in failure by behind on Erik Cole causing him a wound to a Vertèbre and it is then suspended for 3 matches.

The July 23rd 2006, it signs a prolongation of contract for two years with Penguins. With the team 2006-07 of Penguins, they arrive for the first time to the eliminatory Séries since 2002 but they lose with the first turn against the Senators d' Ottawa.
