Brooke Christa Shields is an American actress born the May 31st 1965 with New York, New York (the United States).
Biography
- In 1978, at the 12 years age, it plays, under the direction of Louis Malle, the role of a child prostitute in Small the , a very discussed film.
- In 1980, it becomes known general public thanks to its role of a shipwrecked woman in the blue Lagoon .
- Thereafter, it forever ceased turning, managing to dissociate its beginnings of child-actress by obtaining very mature roles.
- In 1996, it produces and plays in its own televised series, Susan! .
- In 1997, it marries the tennis player Andre Agassi which it divorces 2 years later, before remarier in 2001 with Christopher Thomas Henchy of which it has a girl, Rowan, in 2003. This birth makes it depressive. It decides to lay down its feelings on paper, and publishes the book Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression , a hard but honest glance on the after-childbirth.
