Brooke Christa Shields is an American actress born the May 31st 1965 with New York, New York (the United States).

Biography

In 1978, at the 12 years age, it plays, under the direction of Louis Malle, the role of a child prostitute in Small the , a very discussed film.
In 1980, it becomes known general public thanks to its role of a shipwrecked woman in the blue Lagoon .
Thereafter, it forever ceased turning, managing to dissociate its beginnings of child-actress by obtaining very mature roles.
In 1996, it produces and plays in its own televised series, Susan! .
In 1997, it marries the tennis player Andre Agassi which it divorces 2 years later, before remarier in 2001 with Christopher Thomas Henchy of which it has a girl, Rowan, in 2003. This birth makes it depressive. It decides to lay down its feelings on paper, and publishes the book Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression , a hard but honest glance on the after-childbirth.
