Bromochlorodifluorométhane
The Difluorochlorobromométhane (R12B1) C Br Br F 2 , also called freon 12B1 , Halocarbone R12 B1 , Fluorocarbon 1211 , or R12B1 , is a halon. It is a non flammable gas. It is mainly used to extinguish the fires (extinguisher), but also enters the manufacture of freezing mixtures. The production and the consumption of this halon will be stopped in 2010 (Protocole of Montreal: international agreement for the protection of the stratospheric layer of ozone).
