History

Anecdotes

It is besides the name of the place of the village. It is true that the village is sometimes visible with more than 25 km…
  • the bell-tower is surrounded by four small roofs which are called, in crowned architecture, of the " without-cloches". Whereas there were approximately 400 inhabitants in the village in 1900, a joke said “To Bromeilles, there are a bell-tower and four without-bells”, or “four hundred bells” to refer to the inhabitants!
