The broméline is a proteolytic Enzyme extracted the stems and fresh roots of the Ananas. The pineapple is a Broméliacée, from where the name given to this enzyme.

The broméline is used in food industry, in the textile industie, in beauty care, is at the base of certain pharmaceutical preparations, and is also used in Immuno-hematology in the techniques of searchs for irregular Anticorps.
