Brokk
Brokk is a dwarf of the Scandinavian Mythologie. It has as a brother Eitri.
When Loki had gold hair of Sif, the marvellous boat of Freyr, Skidbladnir, and the spear of Odin, Gungnir, all realized by wire of Ivaldi, it bet its own head that Eitri, the brother of Brokk, would not be able to manufacture other attributes as valid as these.
Eitri however succeeds in forging the gold ring Draupnir, and Gullinbursti, the wild boar drawing the tank from Freyr, like Mjöllnir, the hammer of the god Thor. Brokk thus won its bet, but Loki found an easy way. It did not make it possible Brokk to cut the head to him, pretexting that would damage the neck to him, and that its neck was not included in the bet…
