Broadcasting transmitter

A broadcasting transmitter is an electronic device producing electrical signals of a precise Fréquence and a certain power (between some Milli Watts and several thousands of Watt S). A broadcasting transmitter is obligatorily associated with a Antenne, the latter allows to transform the Electrical signal transmitter into electromagnetic waves, more precisely in radio waves. These waves while being propagated in and out of the Terrestrial atmosphere, make it possible to transmit Donnée S, sounds, Image S or others, with receiving S located remotely.

  • the use of a broadcasting transmitter is, in the majority of the countries, subjected to particular regulations. This with an aim of fighting against the saturation of the wavebands and jammings inopportune.
  • With a same aim, the radioelectric Specter is divided into wavebands. Each band is allotted by international conventions to a specific use.
