Broad bean

The broad bean is a annual Plante of the family of the Fabacée S (leguminous plants), of which it is the type. One cultivates it for his Graine S edible. There exist three types of broad beans:

Description

Robust herbaceous plant, being able to exceed 1 meter. Pennate sheets finished by a point. Broad leaflets, of glaucous color. Inflorescence in racème from two to five flowers (sometimes solitary flower), with white corolla or dew, with black spots on the wings. The fruit is a pod containing of seeds of form oval and flattened with a thick skin, the broad beans.
