British association of sociology
The British Association of Sociologie (“British Sociological Association, BSA”) was founded in 1951. It is the professional association of the Sociologue S in the United Kingdom.
It publishes the newspapers of academic Sociology , Work, Employment and Society and Cultural Sociology (with WISE Publications) as well as the bulletin of the members.
Missions
The main mission of British sociological association is to represent the intellectual and sociological interests of its members.
More precisely, the objectives of association refer to:
• information and services with the members
• the search for an influence of the policies affecting sociology in social sciences
• identity of the discipline and its experts/disciples
• context for the continuation of the activities of sociology
• bonds with sociologists in the whole world
• newspapers, books and other materials
• suitable systems of management for association
