Bristol is a city of the state of Rhode Island (the United States). It is the principal city of the Comté of Bristol-board and not its seat, because the counties of Rhode Island do not have a government. The population of the town of Bristol-board was of 22.469 inhabitants to the census of 2000 for a surface of 53,4 km ².

Bristol-board founded in 1680 and was integrated in 1746.
