Brissonneau and Lotz (BL) is old a railway Constructeur French integrated into the Alstom group.
History

1841 : foundation of the Company Brissonneau Brothers to Nantes and creation of the Factory of Nantes
- 1902: formation of the Company Emile Brissonneau and Constant Lotz
- 1920: creation of the Factory of Creil
- 1956: integration of the Charente-native Industrial companies (EIC) and contribution of the Factory of La Rochelle (Factory of Aytré)
- 1972: absorption by Alsthom (railway activities) and Slipper (automobile activities).
Today
The factory of Aytré is today one of principal the site of construction and assembly of the group Alstom in France, with in particular the construction of the trailers of TGV, and the great range of the trams Citadis.
