Brisgauviens

The Brisgauviens (in German: Brisgauer, in English: Brisgavi) were people Alémanique V E century located at the south of the Black Forest in the south-west of the Germany.

The Historian Romain Am Marcellin wrote in 354 that Vadomarius was the chief of tribe of Brisgauviens, and he was assassinated in the year 368 by his own people, influenced by the Romains.

Today the south of the Black Forest in the Pays of Bade is called Brisgau.
