(2004, Canterbury Bulldogs) |} The Brisbane Broncos are a club Australia N of Rugby to XIII evolving/moving in National Rugby League. In spite of its recent formation (1988), the club counts more than one million supporters in Australia. The six conquests of the supreme title between 1992 and 2006 explain this passion. Broncos are the only quoted on the stock exchange Australian club. The club is held by the News Corporation.

History

With the beginning of the year 1980, NSWRL decides to open the championship with teams which are not Sydney. Canberra Raiders and Illawarra is introduced in 1982. In 1988, three new teams make their Brisbane appearance, Newcastle Knights and Gold Coast. The first match of Broncos takes place in 1988 vis-a-vis with holding of the title, the Manly Sea Eagles (44-10). Brisbane gains their first title in 1992 vis-a-vis Saint-George. They preserve it in 1993. In 1997, the club gains the championship of the Super League and gains the inaugural season of the NRL, in 1998. The fifth title will be gained in 2000. In 2006, the club gains the title with carrying vis-a-vis the favorite, the Melbourne Storm.
