Brigitte Haentjens

Brigitte Haentjens (Paris, July 29th, 1951) is a Metteure in Québécois scene and of French origin.

Biography

Brigitte Haentjens was trained in France where it was familiarized with the creative and theatrical possibilities body at the school of Jacques Lecoq. She then undertook an artistic career of director and Director which was spread in Ontario French where she directed the Théâtre of New-Ontario of 1982 to 1990. Then with the Quebec where, after having taken care of the artistic destinies of the Theater Denise-Furrier, it founded its company Sibyllines in 1998. During last years, its step of director was announced by his singular audacity and the requirement of its choices of authors.

Through the subjective readings of certain texts, frequently marked by the Psychoanalysis, it particularly explores the secret fractures of the female identity.

Brigitte Haentjens was also codirectrice of the international crossroads of theater in Quebec during ten years.
